About the Ranch
A 5th-Generation South Texas Ranch
Lopez Ranch Properties is a family-owned and operated South Texas ranch with roots in historic Spanish land grant country. Now part of a 5th-generation family operation, the ranch continues to be used for cattle, hunting, family recreation, hospitality, and time spent on the land.
This is a working ranch, not a staged resort. Cattle work, wildlife, senderos, ponds, tanks, brush country, and family tradition are all part of the experience. The ranch continues to run Angus cattle across the property today, carrying forward five generations of South Texas ranching alongside the hunting and hospitality experience. Guests are invited into a private ranch setting where the focus is on good hunting, great food, comfortable lodging, and the kind of South Texas hospitality that makes a weekend memorable.
Located approximately one hour from Laredo between Zapata and Hebbronville, the property spans portions of Jim Hogg and Zapata County and offers access to 13,000± acres of South Texas terrain.
